5 iPhone Strategy Games I Love

  iPhone strategy games has always been my passion and I have played tons of them over the years. While it is really difficult to clearly identify which are the best iPhone strategy games, here are five that are really close to my heart.. or should I say brain ?

Medieval

The game -Medieval is all about shooting out the enemies and claiming victory , while you defend your castle and your honor .The game offers innovative controls , a dozen of weapons ,  different levels of difficulty to select from and 6 different Troop types to select from, each with multiple upgrades available for maximum devastation.

It is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch OS 2.2 or higher and is available on the iTunes store.

Civilization Revolution

Civilization Revolution has been a Game in the top of its class for more than 10 years. The game was developed by Sid Meier.  Civilization Revolution has been designed and built specifically for iPhone and iPod touch and features like gameplay, graphics and control take full advantage of these unique devices.

Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution offers gamers a chance to experience the epic empire building world of civilization on their handheld. Civ Rev on the iPhone is certainly as addictive as it is on other systems and deserves to be on your iphone.

Sim City

The game SimCity sets you as the mayor of a new municipality, with the responsibility of building and maintaining a place where citizens can move to places, work and be happy. The first task starts with creating provision for good housing, transport, school, work places, and entertainment spots.

The game also includes 8 pre-defined time-limited scenarios, with specific challenges and targets. The environment varies in each game and this should affect your choices.

Star Defense

Star Defense is a tower defense game , published by ngmoco

The enemies travel from the insertion point towards your base. To stop them you have five classes of towers to deploy, each upgradeable three times. Towers do different kinds of damage: bullet, electrical or fire.

What makes Star Defense different from other tower defense games is the battles in Star Defense is fought on 3-d worlds in space where you have to scroll around to follow the path.

Reign of Swords 2

Punch Entertainment’s Reign of Swords 1 was a fun turn based strategy game, and the sequel also hasn’t disappointed the fans. The sequel maintained the same easy-to-use interface, with smart menus and good touch-based controls for moving units and directing attacks

This game provides more of a Strategic experience to the gamers, by controlling the armies on the inventive maps.

Reign of Swords 2 allows owners of the first game to import their customized army for even more strategic goodness, offering dozens of new missions added regularly via updates and countless improvements to the previous game's online multi-player feature set.
